is there only one ending? If not then I got to replay the game. And if so, how do we get the other ones?
Review: The game as itself was pretty good. I preferred Melanie though. The story was pretty good I actually liked playing it with the soundtrack music which was also good too. Do you happen to have a soundtrack by chance?
Hello, I have a question. Is there a guide for the game because I already did everything in the forest. village and mountains but I can't go to toko city and it's a little inconvenience, could you help me?
I've played through the game and enjoyed it very much but when I looked in the game data files I noticed there is a "Grow 8" spell. I found Grow 7 but I was never able to find Grow 8 in game. Is there something I missed, or is it something only in the game data files? Any hints would be appreciated.
I'm stuck at 281 points I've defeated all fightable civilians crushed everything I think I can crush squished all the corpses and am well short of the 300 required for growth 6 is there any failsafe?
Sorry, ignore that. Definitely thought this was the new one.
Generally, if you've beaten everything (all monsters in every area), plus all civilians and story bits, you should hit the amount (just over actually). So I can only assume there's 1-2 areas you may have missed. Or a couple of enemies you've just bypassed.
The only way would be using JoiPlay on android. Although I can’t guarantee it will work properly. Rpg maker is mostly optimised for PC’s so it might not work as well.
so I’m trying to get to Toko city and I have no clue how to get there, I’m stuck at the rock and can’t find a way to break it, I don’t have any sort of spell or any enemies to fight to get bigger. Is there something really obvious I’m missing?
Now its been a while since I've looked through the game admittedly.. But, you need to basically destroy all objects (flowers, trees, urns etc in the village), destroy the remaining carcasses in Screeone, defeat the townspeople in Pentop and it should be enough with all the monsters
eager on the remake, theres a lot more potential for this.
Loved:
Size mechanics like stomping enemies
The protag being a selfish bitch
Overall feeling of power increasing as the game goes on
The idea of the destroying everything in a town vs townspeople giving you stuff balance
Main gripes are:
magic feels way too strong. Every enemy has lower resistance to magic than physical damage which makes spamming the fire spells the main strat
Some things are really vague, like map exits and objectives, or even item stats.
The amount of back tracking through already cleared areas gets rather tedious
Not enough of the world reacting to your size. Like a woman as tall as a house is trying to rent a room at your inn, and you got a room to accomodate them? Melanie also doesn't give you any grow points for killing her in the cutscene lmao
Loved this game. Really enjoyed being able to really enjoy the growth throughout the game, too many games have you either be the tiny or start of massive so getting to start small and grow huge was very entertaining. I can't wait for either a remake or new update because I would love to see more of this.
One thing I really liked about this game was the permanence (except for that one part) of the growth. Once you grew, you couldn't go back. Being big isn't just a convenience, but a new reality that both brings advantages and disadvantages. I'd like to see this explored more in that remake. Like if you get too big, armor and the like is no longer an option to you, or even clothes themselves. Also going in certain houses, or any house, might also be taken away should you get far enough.
Yup! Those are definitely in the pipeline. The armour and stuff maybe but houses being off limits (or the potential to just bust it down when you get large enough) will be a feature for sure.
Any chance i could get some help here? I'm stuck on the "Shiny Monstrosities" quest. I destroyed the tanks, but the leader, Lucile, ends up joining my party no matter which option I choose. Is there a way to fix this?
Hey, also just found this game, and i have to say that its one of the best i've played so far, Love the story , the jokes and the outside of game references. Just out of curiosity were the BIG soldiers after the mountains implemented, i mean it does say "This isn't quite implemented yet" so my fear is that i have an older version haha.
Anyways nice job with this game, very excited to hear about a possible remake
Haha. To be honest, I actually wished I threw more jokes in there :P
Nope, you most likely have the most recent version, that was one thing that I never implemented. I couldn't think of anything to add there to be honest. Although (I am remaking it...) for the next time I will make sure there isn't something weird with random "unimplemented areas" again :D
Yeah i recently finished it and it was a great game, gotta say the death of Melanie was a little bit anti-climatic for my taste expected her to "suffer" a bit more since all the vengeance was guided towards her but hey "Everyone has his own taste". apart from that i enjoyed every part of the game, from grinding which i normaly do, to the story and the plot. So gotta say 10/10.
Well i liked the way you made your game basically so any GTS game recommendation of your own?
Yeah, the game was actually meant to end a lot earlier, but so many people wanted me to continue it. I sadly ran out of ideas towards the end, hence the rather rushed ending. I do agree that more needed to be done. It's why I felt it deserved a remake, that and being the first game I fully completed, it has a special place in my heart.
Other GTS games that are similar would be NyaGato's Goddess Training Games (1 and 2 especially), HironoGiro's Goddess Ascension is another. They are ones I liked a lot. Other than that, GiantessCity has a ton to check out, with varying stories and types.
Oh so that was why, makes sense haha. Well considering that was your "out of ideas" i would say it was pretty good even though it was not the finale you were looking for.
I've already played NyaGato ones, i think there is one currently in development though while i like his game style and interaction in game i do think i'll wait for the final product.
Goddess Ascension doesn't ring a bell but i'll look it up and yeah i normally check GC for more games but recently i feel like there is not that much movement on that thread, not complaining tho but i feel i already know all the first page entries haha maybe im the one obsessed haha xD
thank for the recommendations, and keep up the great work.
I'm currently working on a remake (slowly as I'm in the middle of another project). I've learnt alot since making it, so it'll be back, better and cleaner and hopefully more enjoyable. (With some changes to bits of the story and characters)
so i'm in Toko city, just finished everything with the millitary and stuff, and the harbor isn't doing anything, i did interact with the monster in the mountains, but all he lets me do is the minigame now, i got absorb, where do i go now?
NVM: turns out the old couple count as seperate NPC's
The Hidden Entrance is in the Inn of Pentop (check the bookshelf) and the Rare Red Crystals are in the sewers just after it (break and open everything you can)
Just playing this one again and I love the general idea, but saddened at how it ends so quickly.
I hear you're doing a remake of sorts. Can I give a suggestion for that? Perhaps go deeper into the roleplay. In this game, your character is just a murderous bitch. While that path certainly makes sense, I'm hoping for more options in a remake. Perhaps you can take the long, hard, "good" route where you don't grow as quickly, but if you persevere you ironically grow much bigger than otherwise and get way more powerful. Maybe have that lead into a "good" ending.
I actually originally had the idea for a karma system of sorts where breaking stuff or hurting the townspeople would "corrupt" Isabelle and cause the ending to morph. I have planned out a new roadmap that does account for certain actions and will alter the final ending based on the direction you chose.
Well, at the very least, and I know I'm not alone on this, but I'd love to see Isabelle choose to do something _decidiingly different_ than kill Lucile at the end of the game: maybe they can end up friends. Or...maybe they can end up something more >:)
Most of the quests were done when i just started out. So they might be a bit bugged (or lacking information) If you talk to the boy in the shops, he will take it off your hands - unless you attacked the shopkeepers. Then he'll be too scared to talk to you.
I'm not sure. I haven't got a mac to test it on. I think if you download a windows emulator through your MAC, it should be able to run it. But I haven't got a clue sorry.
Gotta say, this was a very fun experience! My only real gripe was how sudden and anticlimactic the ending was after beating the final boss. Witht hat said, looking forward to the update!
You can save anywhere you like? There's no limits on where you can save.
If you don't extract the game files though, saving will be blocked. So make sure you extract the files before playing the game. Since the files are zipped up, the game can't create the save file, so you need to extract the contents using 7Zip or WinZip first.
Ah the code. I saw it bro but I don't know where to put it in since it seems I can't interact with any panel. And by the way the game itself is pretty good - got so invested in it that I was unaware that I stayed up until 4AM playing it
I finished the quest for the demon, and now i have no idea where to go from here, the Facility still says i'm too small, even though i seem to have lost the ability to grow myself further it seems, i have no idea if i can even get bigger or how to do so
I can’t find the secret passageway after knocking out the “old man” (in the second location/1st town) to progress to the next city. Anyone know where to look?
If I remember correctly, yes. The last ones are tied behind side quests and story events. (Check back in the first forest area where Anima the succubus is)
Great game man, I really love it! I think I found a bug. After you sail away from Toko city, then come back, if you go out on the dock, it's impossible to leave that scene and go back to the city. Accidentally saving the game there would be really bad.
i believe i found a bug. if an enemy is killed with a normal attack and not a spell it will not register the growth point sometimes. im stuck in the city with 299 points because a slime didn't count due to melee kill.
Hmm... When I did my test, you should end up with just over 300 after destroying everything. Did you crush the bodies in the ruined city (king included)? They give additional points.
Now this was a great game wish there was aditional endings, but in the end it was an awesome expirence. I do have to say though I thought it was going to go on a little longer but nothing I can do about it.
Also the sprites did change when you interacted with them but it didn't bother me much. Other than that I didn't encouter any bugs at all so wonderful job.
And I can't wait for the remake also happy new year since it was yesterday lol
Thanks for your kindness, I have been trying to translate for hours.Besides , I have recognize that a bug happens in Toko harbour, it might be the event goes wrong. Hope you don't mind when I find a bug and try to fix it.
When you have finished the event of Toko city and go across the land , then you return the harbour of Toko City. You can't be back to the urban district . Isabel has mentioned you need to get the ships. Then you have to exit and load becauese you can't get away from the harbour

I’m glad you enjoyed.
There’s a couple of “bad endings” you can get along the way. And eventually when complete, there will be additional “endings”.
Majority of the music is from Darren Curtis. They have a large library of music to listen to.

ah it was originally going to be used, but didn’t have enough sprites to go that high. So never ended up being used to be honest.
I'm stuck at 281 points I've defeated all fightable civilians crushed everything I think I can crush squished all the corpses and am well short of the 300 required for growth 6 is there any failsafe?

The only way would be using JoiPlay on android. Although I can’t guarantee it will work properly. Rpg maker is mostly optimised for PC’s so it might not work as well.
is this nsfw?
Yeah. There’s some suggestive themes but no real nudity or sex scenes.
so I’m trying to get to Toko city and I have no clue how to get there, I’m stuck at the rock and can’t find a way to break it, I don’t have any sort of spell or any enemies to fight to get bigger. Is there something really obvious I’m missing?

thanks, turns out I missed a couple of slimes at the beginning.
What do you do with the green crystals when the mayor tells you to get them cuz he isnt saying anything new?
It's been a while, but he wants the blue crystals. not the green ones.
You will need the green ones later on for a side quest though.
eager on the remake, theres a lot more potential for this.

Melanie also doesn't give you any grow points for killing her in the cutscene lmao
I was wondering will the the remake have more growing content?
Potentially yes. And not just limited to the main characters.
interesting and cool
Loved this game. I can't wait for either a remake or new update because I would love to see more of this.

A remake is being made currently actually. The demo for it should release end of May. Or on Patreon in a few days :D
One thing I really liked about this game was the permanence (except for that one part) of the growth. Once you grew, you couldn't go back. Being big isn't just a convenience, but a new reality that both brings advantages and disadvantages. I'd like to see this explored more in that remake. Yup! Those are definitely in the pipeline. The armour and stuff maybe but houses being off limits (or the potential to just bust it down when you get large enough) will be a feature for sure.
But you have to admit, even if Isabelle is forced to walk around naked, she probably wouldn't care if she gets to be big and powerful enough.
That and drawing clothes is kinda hard. naked is much easier.
hey, I am literally trying to cheat, what folder or file are the stats stored in
You need to use a save editor. Load up the save file into it and modify the stats you want.
I am sorry to have to request help again but what file is it specifically because I cannot find one labeled save 1
You need to play the game and save. Rpg maker will then create the file. Its in the "save" folder
Is there a way to fix the "Chipped Pendant"? I only managed to make the "Holy Ring".
Each of them needs specific material. They only turn into one item. There's an accessory, a weapon and armour.
If that's the case, then how do you get the weapon? I already made the armour and the ring.
If I remember correctly. The weapon needs Orichalcum.
It's found in the house in the City of Hablegorn. (on a blue carpet tile). Stand on top and click the confirm button and you'll get it.
I have that already, i'm just not sure who to hand it to. I've talked to everyone, and I can't obtain this weapon.
You need to have it and the Broken Sword. Then talk to the same person you talked to fix the Chipped Pendant. (the Blacksmith)
Any chance i could get some help here? I'm stuck on the "Shiny Monstrosities" quest. I destroyed the tanks, but the leader, Lucile, ends up joining my party no matter which option I choose. Is there a way to fix this?
So Lucile isn't actually a part of that quest at all.
Once you destroy the tanks, head further right and you'll come to a facility. Heading through that and beating the boss will complete that quest.
Thanks for that, I was very confused. Love your game btw.
Hey there, I really enjoyed playing this gem. Do you perhaps have something like a Patreon, Subscribestar or a Discord I can visit?
Hi there! Glad you enjoyed it!
I do have a Patreon and a Discord. There is a remake planned for Growing Vengeance (although might be some time before I get fully into it)
Discord link is here :)

Found this game a few days ago and really had a blast. Just wanted to know if it had or will have a sequel or keep being updated.

How to excape the TOKO City
You need to go to the warehouse. After the scenes there, go to the Harbour (it's just to the right of the warehouse)
Where is the red crystals and hidden Enterance?
The Hidden Entrance is in the Inn of Pentop (check the bookshelf) and the Rare Red Crystals are in the sewers just after it (break and open everything you can)
Thank you.

so i have a few problems :
i have the plastic sword in my inv but in the quest it doesnt say i got it which makes no sense
i have talked with every person but it didnt register appearantly and i cant go into the warehouse looking thingy
also that game is great
nvm i forgor to talk to the old lady lmao
Most of the quests were done when i just started out. So they might be a bit bugged (or lacking information) If you talk to the boy in the shops, he will take it off your hands - unless you attacked the shopkeepers. Then he'll be too scared to talk to you.
is your game compatible with mac?
I'm not sure. I haven't got a mac to test it on. I think if you download a windows emulator through your MAC, it should be able to run it. But I haven't got a clue sorry.

Haha yeah. It was meant to end a long while before that but everyone wanted more so i added more...
Ended up running out of ideas towards the end, hence why it was so rushed :D
The update should improve this hopefully, cause I'm planning on fleshing it out a bunch more...
Completely unrelated but I just now realized you were the creator of Project FAT
Now I feel a little dumb for not noticing sooner haha
Anyways! I wish you luck!
Thats me indeed :D and not really. They are totally different genres :D
But thanks! I appreciate it!
Yes, it will actually be remade eventually. Just finishing my current project first before I start on Growing Vengeance again.
is there something i can do to not start from the beginning after dying?
cuz it feels lame to do this all from the start after one death tbh
some kind of save file or something?
You can save anywhere you like? There's no limits on where you can save.

I am kinda stuck on the Hablegorn Lab. Can't get in
Which part? If its the passcode, just search the papers on the ground and you'll find the code among them.
Ah the code. I saw it bro but I don't know where to put it in since it seems I can't interact with any panel. And by the way the game itself is pretty good - got so invested in it that I was unaware that I stayed up until 4AM playing it
Ah that's probably my fault. So where the control panel is, its actually the tile below it.
The idea is cause its to make it look like the control panel is at eye level, rather than below.
I finished the quest for the demon, and now i have no idea where to go from here, the Facility still says i'm too small, even though i seem to have lost the ability to grow myself further it seems, i have no idea if i can even get bigger or how to do so
You should be able to destroy the tanks once you hit the 6th growth stage.
You should be able to just walk up to them, fight the guards and then destroy the tanks. Then you just walk in and explore.
I can’t find the secret passageway after knocking out the “old man” (in the second location/1st town) to progress to the next city. Anyone know where to look?
Check around the Inn, Perhaps one of the bookshelves looks a bit.... different.
i'm having an issue with attempting to download and install the game. i keep getting the error "cannot read property 'build' of undefined"
That's bizarre. Potentially a corrupted file. I would download the whole thing and extract it again. Then just click the Game.exe to play.
Doesn't need any installing really.
I fixed my issue as far as the game's installation is concerned! Now I'm stuck on not being able to complete the "Shiny Monstrosities" side quest
I'm glad! That's just the area where the tanks are in Toko City.
Once your big enough, you can barge your way through and then explore the facility. Once you beat the "boss" there, you can complete the quest.
the grow spell dissapears after stage 6, is this intentional?
If I remember correctly, yes. The last ones are tied behind side quests and story events. (Check back in the first forest area where Anima the succubus is)
Just came back here to make a well deserved and long over due tribute. Excellent work!
Great game man, I really love it!
I think I found a bug. After you sail away from Toko city, then come back, if you go out on the dock, it's impossible to leave that scene and go back to the city.
Accidentally saving the game there would be really bad.
Hmmm. That's bad of me. Must have overlooked it :/
I'll be rebuilding the game for the most part at some stage, with proper testing this time :D
i believe i found a bug. if an enemy is killed with a normal attack and not a spell it will not register the growth point sometimes. im stuck in the city with 299 points because a slime didn't count due to melee kill.
Shouldn't matter. The points are added after the battle, regardless of how you beat the monster.
Have you destroyed everything you can? Lamp Posts, Trash Cans, etc in all maps?
It's most likely your missing something.
i looked everywhere that i can go and destroyed everything i could. it was after running out of sources that i got stuck at 299

And I can't wait for the remake also happy new year since it was yesterday lol
Sir, I am a gts-lover who lives in China. Could you please allow me to translate this work into Chinese?
Thats fine with me :) Just don't make edits to the game other than the text and I have no worries.
Thanks for your kindness, I have been trying to translate for hours.Besides , I have recognize that a bug happens in Toko harbour, it might be the event goes wrong. Hope you don't mind when I find a bug and try to fix it.
Can you elaborate on the bug? So I can find it myself as well
When you have finished the event of Toko city and go across the land , then you return the harbour of Toko City. You can't be back to the urban district . Isabel has mentioned you need to get the ships. Then you have to exit and load becauese you can't get away from the harbour
Ah! Probably just a bugged conditional switch. I'll have a suss and fix it up.
